The PMA have released a new guide for Affiliate Managers, written by Tricia Meyer - @SunshineTricia
As their opening comment states "Navigating the waters of affiliate marketing can be confusing, especially for new affiliate managers". The document has been released by the Coupons and Deals council of the PMA, aimed at new affiliate managers with terminology, strategies and dangers involved in managing an affiliate programme.
Its worth bearing in mind that it has been written from a US perspective, with all examples shown in the US market. So if you are European based you may also want to look through some of the articles on PerformanceIN which provides you with some excellent examples of UK and European affiliate management.
There's also a very useful reading list at the end with links to some of the key guides from Geno Prussakov, Shawn Collins and others. So all in all its well worth a read.
